    maybe you flexed so much the coil "unseated" (i think i just made that word up), and the spacer moved and got jacked up when the coil returned back to position... anyways i am leaning towards poly since it absorbs more and i'm thinking aluminum would clunk around and make funny noises in front.

    sweet rig! early broncos are classic! i can tell you this, as a former Bronco owner, when Broncos SAS'd, they'd usually stay away from reusing the old control arms unless they were on a very strict budget...but when they did use them they had decent flex.
