im going to a ford dana 44 in the front and will be running 38s. what is a good steering box to run that can handle the tires and which knuckles do i need to run high steer.
well i am putting a front 44 out of a 79 ford that has the cast in wedges. i am going to keep it full width and run the radius arms. if you are running them i could use pics and advise.

just my own experience here but when i hooked the large ground wire to the battery my winch wouldnt work. i worked once i moved it to the body. the little wire can be attached to any bolt you want on the engine or body basically

ya the 4 runner also broke something in his front end causing his one tire to lock up. also the damages over 2 days that i know of are 3 dead alternators, 1 dead engine, 1 almost hydrolock, 1 broken ring and pinion, 1 broken front axle shaft, some sort of turbo problem with the buggy and more...
where do you attach an engine hoist to on a 4.0l with tranny still attached to lift it out of the jeep. i looked in my haynes but it just said to attach to lift points without saying what the lift points wereHasta
nobody made it up that hill that day. also the white cherokee was running chains in the back. after about half the day they dug it down enough so below 35 inch tires you would hit you diff on a rock in the center

they did the samething to my uncles pickup up to his windows. another good one is to just jack up their back axle so their tires are just off the ground. or if you know they dont have lockers or anything you can just do one tire
