so basicly mod the tps, drop on the HO manifold, adapt the fule lines to the HO fuel rail?
PS can i temperally use an HO injector in a renix motor without any ill effects. if i remember correctly the HO has a bit more flow? or are they the same? thanks tim
The info Im looking for pertains to the electronics, adapting the manifold, and sensor issues. Basically Im just looking for detailed write-up on the swap.
I paid 225 for my 8.8 complete. M4O has shock mounts and spring perches. quality. For the brakes I removed the valve and hardlined them from the master. Hope it helps.
if the main leafs didnt break, then you can reuse thos and find xj springs. thats how i build my spring pack. but im running soa. i dont see how it wouldnt still work for you.
dude, just pop the cover and know for sure. you can just read the ringgear where it stamped or etched into the side. most have the ratio broken down. some have the number of pinion teeth and ringgear teeth and you have to do the math. its easy and will cost you 30 bucks maybe. all you need is...

I have replaced:

inline fuel filter
MAP
TPS
O2
CPS
new Vac lines...
Like stated, let the jeep sit for awhile to let the bubbles go away or remove the steering box lines to release the fluid and start over with fresh fluid.
Rase the front tires off the ground
fill res. with fluid
dont start. you can fry your pump
unlock the steering coloum
turn steering...
If your thinking it may be the front drive line pull it out and go drive it. If it goes away you found your problem.
Also do a bold cheak on the front, and check for worn out ujoints.
Also check your uni-bearings, maybe they are really worn out.
About the motormounts, you should just be...
Im not sure. This mj has dumby gauges, none of the lights are going off. But im used to my xj gauges that you can actully read and know where you stand. I can scan it tomorrow and get the temp.
why do you ask?
thanks tim
Yes I did, it was jumping and changing 4 to 6 degrees at idle. so i checked my distributer and the gear had alot of play so I replaced the gear. now the timeing is steady. As far as I can tell there is no way to adjust timeing on the 89, I didnt see anything in the repair manual either. The...
