I have everything but the press, but im located in chico. I got my rearend regeared here at 1st gear trans for 225. Well worth it, they made a great pattern.
Yeah its a money pit, but anything fun seems to be.... I hope it last through this season without me having to put any more money into it or I wont be able to affored lift tickets. All in all that bike has about 4k into it, but absolutley eveything is brand spankin new.
What exactly is it doing that makes you think it is a tooth off? Im assuming that its running rough, but is it dying? When I did mine I was 180 out, and when I turned it over there was obvious backfire. That in turn blew the map sensor tube out of the tb. I fixed the 180 out but it was still...

I just purchased a 2000 chevy truck with the 5.3 with 70k on the clock. I didnt notice before I purchased it but Im noticed tonight the the oil pressure is high. In park it idles a bit over the middle line but when I bring up the RPMs the oil pressure goes up almost to being pinned at...
88 jeep comanche 2wd 4.0l auto....260k on the clock but runs very well. White paint.... it is rough but the body is in ok shape. The interior is in really good condition. Grey cloth. Completely stock except for a bed liner.

They are a bitch but work on it and you will get it dialed... first try adjusting the tps.... search the oem tech for the instructions. I think that might help your problem.... the tranny may be shot but i doubt it.
You need to elaborate more cause what you have described sounds like your throttle position sensor is not working which would be a lot cheaper than a tranny. When you say it gets stuck in high gear do you mean that when in drive it starts of in overdrive or does the engine just rev real high?
