I learned tha hard way on my 89 that just because the brake lights come on when i step on the brake, does NOT mean that switch is adjusted properly.
I used a scanner to see when the switch told the trans that the brake was NOT applied. im sure a DVOM can be used to adjust it as well.
how long has it been broken?
Have you considered a new expansion valve or accumulator?
If you dont know what hese things are, i wouldnt suggest that you fool with the A/C anymore.
im gonna go with that, but i would HOPE, that with an ECM company like that, that they are troubleshooting this guys issues over the phone. It kinda seems like a waste of time to keep going back and forth over 250 bones.....?

i did the exact same thing.
I ended up taking the seat out and peeled the carpet back enought to find a small nicely placed hole in the body just above the stripped nut.
I busted the small tack welds off and put a new nut in its place.

i realize that there is some thing to fix or replace, but after cleaning c101 and adding a ground to the TPS, i was tired of it.

do yourself a favor and do a search for the power lock upgrade. i had the same issues with the power locks in mine, and after troubleshooting the issue down to a lack of voltage, i rewired a few more relays into the deal and all is well now.
