    Land Rover Giverny Green (Pics)

The guy who painted it Giverny Green effed me over. This guy came highly recommended, but he's sure taking his sweet time.

    Project: #becauseracejeep

I lost a great deal of appetite for XJs after those two .... ummm... 'members' entered the Cherokee gene pool.

    the LED tail light thread

Nothing will come of it unless one of you knows someone else I can speak with. All the people I dealt with were pure, undiluted asshats.

    the LED tail light thread

That contact was a complete bust. He messed up front signal markers (I was lucky to get them back). The same can't be said for my tail lights. I sent him 2 sets and I never got them back.

Anyone know what happened to Jon Kelley?

I spoke with him back in May when I wanted to buy some cables, but his replies kept slowing to a point where I just gave up. I know he does exceptional work, but I'm just not the kind of person to hound somebody to give them my money. I only hound those that owe me cash.

New Factory Head Unit in Old XJ

You can fit a 2din unit without modding the vents http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1024604&page=3 I contemplated a mygig deck install ages but I wrote off the prospect when I realized the bus fiasco.

my AUSI 300mm front brake retro/ Teraflex rear disc conversion

My T3 dbas cost $153usd each; they're actually a damn good rotor... even for a daily driver. If the quotes you're getting seem on the high side than perhaps you're being quoted for the dba T3 2-piece rotors (their 5000 series) opposed to my one piece rotors (T3 4000 series)

    Random jeep photo...

Nice!!! I'm a weee bit jealous. My business partner's parents are from Deer Lake NL. My backyard neighbour has a place in northern NL (which I can't remember at the moment), but he goes there every summer (and always brings us some cod).

    Land Rover Giverny Green (Pics)

lol, here you go. I thought of that, but the width of that type of shelter would monopolize a fair bit of space for the WJ to park.

    Land Rover Giverny Green (Pics)

I wish, but this jeep is my daily driver, I don't have a garage nor does my property allow for the construction of one. I'm still waiting on a few parts to complete my 231 to 242 swap, than the Jeep's getting the Krown treatment (this snow won't be permanent) I'm still researching carports...

I just renewed my membership, so you can PM me now ... and I will try to take some pics of the emblems tomorrow provided the snow lets up.

    Land Rover Giverny Green (Pics)

yeah.... I know. Why do you think I bought the newer Cherokee emblems instead? They're roughly $30/pair opposed to $50/each for the older style Cherokee emblems.

    Land Rover Giverny Green (Pics)

I ended up only using the new Cherokee emblems on my doors, and one of the new Jeep emblems on my tailgate. The newer Jeep emblems are too thick to bend/ use on the front header panel, and the classic emblems are too tall to match the new Cherokee emblems on the doors.

yes, that's the shop. 5 yards is more than enough; I still have leftover material.
