I highly recommed the Cobra 75 WX ST All-in-handset Mobile CB. VERY small footprint. Easy to mount, does not take up any space and among other options, gives you access to 10 NOAA weather channels. Just get a good K-40 antenna and you will be fine.
Thanks for the links to the threads on the OR FAB bumper. It has been very helpful. No need to be mean and call people names - Sorry I posted and searched the wrong mfg. Hope to see you on the trails.
Well I should have looked it up before posting. It is NOT from Fabtech, it is from OR FAB and it's listed in Quadratech, not 4wd Harware.

From what I understand, these are fairly new. They are now showing up on 4WD Hardware's catalog. The price seems pretty good, also. Has anyone bought one or have any information about them?
Thanks Ren! I'll be watching for some more info. I love trying new places and I am not opposed to the drive as long as the trials are good and there is a place to camp. BTW, don't forget directions.
Does anyone have information or experience riding in the following areas:
(1.) Turkey Bay OHV in Marshall County
(2.) Daniel Boone National Forest near Slade, KY
(3.) Williamsburg, KY area, near the Cumberland River and near Big South Fork National Rec. area?
Thanks.
Sent a letter last week. This is a BIG DEAL here in the Southeast - we are quickly running out of areas to ride. With all of the work SFWDA has done for this area, we deserve to be treated better.
I've been reading the old posts and still have some questions. I have a 2001 and would like to do mild to medium trails and still use it as my dd:
1. Will both the 3.5" Super Flex R.E and the 2" OME allow fitment of 31 x 10.5 x 15 BFG KM's without trimming? Will there be any rubbing?
2. Both...
Thanks everybody for the advise and welcome. I know now I should have done a search first before asking a boot camp question.
I have been seriously looking at the OME lifts - I'm glad to hear that you all think highly of them. A few questions:
1. What is the difference in the light, medium and...
I just bought a 2001 XJ Sport. I have been trail riding Wranglers for several years but I am brand new to XJ's. I am planning on keeping the XJ as a daily driver but I would like to make some mods to it to increase it's capability as a camping / mild off roading vehicle. A few questions:
- What...
