    headlights turn off weird

sorry haven't been back for a few days. yeah so it is that headlight delay feature. i've had and/or driven other vehicles that had those features, and just never thought anything about it. but as i said, my previous 95 did not have that feature, so that's why with this one i didn't even...

    headlights turn off weird

auto delay on a 95??? just curious cuz my old 95 never did that, and i'm like 99% sure this one never did it. cuz when i move it across the street at night for parking, i would notice if it was lighting up the street, or when i park in front of the inlaws garage when visiting, i would notice...

    headlights turn off weird

ok first off, my garage was broken into last night and most of my tools were stolen. as far as i can tell they didn't mess with my jeep. i just figured i'd mention this incase any of you can think of anything additional to suggest to look for if they may have tried to tamper with the jeep. i...

    T&T Customs bumper?

i selected my front/rear bumpers for their strenght to make sure they could handle my abuse. on the TNT front bumper i purchased every upgrade they had. I'm glad to say that that bumper has held up to falling off of rocks, hitting trees, and 30 foot running start recoveries. VERY WELL WORTH...

Warming the Transfer Case (for fluid change)

"generally" speaking, there shouldn't/won't be any decent particles in there that will get flushed out. plus the drain plug isn't exactly under the t-case. so the particles would have to flow slightly up to get out of the plug. plus the time between you parking it, jacking it up and draining it...

    Manual to auto swap HELP!

oh don't get me wrong. driving in the rocks and such without the 3rd pedal was awesome. but the constant headaches with the damn trannies failing isn't worth it. i've tried for over a year to resolve my automatic tranny issues, and finally decided to get rid of it. I've never had good luck...

Warming the Transfer Case (for fluid change)

technically speaking, there shouldn't be any particles floating around. that's what the magnet in the bottom of the t-case is for. and as long as the particles are stuck to the magnet, it doesn't matter if you drive it for 100hours straight and then drain it, the result is going to be the...

Warming the Transfer Case (for fluid change)

you can drive it in 2wd for 10 minutes or in 2wd for 10hours. or in 4wd. whatever you want. either way, your transfercase is going to be spinning and pumping regardless because it's driving the rear axle. so therefore it'll be good and warm either way. oh and one more thing........you are...

    Manual to auto swap HELP!

i know i'm in the minority, but why the hell are you converting to a damn automatic??? i can't wait till i press my new clutch pedal for the first time. i didn't even shed a tear over my automatic. damn POS auto trannies are all junk. the only reason i didn't use a sledge to remove my tranny...

    best year

i like 95. it's as new as you can get without having to deal with all the additional bull*hit of OBD-II and all the extra wiring and electronics. and if you want a D44, you can just swap on from an 87-88, or if you want a 29spl 8.25, you can just swap one in from a newer one.

    E3 spark plugs

your bad idle was fixed by the fact that you put in NEW spark plugs. changes are in a few weeks to a couple months those plugs are going to foul out on you and you'll be changing plugs again.

    3" Rough Country Lift Kit

It's not rough country driveline vibration. it's LIFT KIT driveline vibration. you'll get it regardless of what lift you go with. i would recommend either install a transfercase drop, or getting a slip yoke eliminator.

    E3 spark plugs

actually jeepman. now that you mention it, i'm not sure what year they started, but sometime around the time they went to coil packs they also changed the factory plugs to NGK. the NGK's suck in the older jeeps. but i've so far replaced factory plugs in 4 2001+ jeeps and they used NGK from the...

    E3 spark plugs

personally i would recommend changing the autolites to champions. go with the part number listed under your hood. (stock replacement) when i replace customers spark plugs i ALWAYS go with the stock replacements unless the engine and ignition system is upgraded. I had one customer who swore...

    Keep blowing front ujoint...

any chance you can take a picture and point out exactly which parts you are having problems with??? that way we can figure out what that "thing for the axle" is??? i'm thinking your pinion angle may be incorrect and you are overstressing the u-joint that way.

    Fuel tank relocation or options

LOL......how could i not see that coming. LOL well i wouldn't really need that anymore if i went with the fuel cell route. and if i relocated it up........well then it's kinda 50/50 whether i'll need it. other suggestions/comments???

    Keep blowing front ujoint...

what position are you in when they break??? if your tires are turned full lock, that can put enough stress on them that if you suddenly hit traction or bind in some other way it will break them. on my rig i figured out what caused my u-joint to break. since i don't run bumpstops, i can flex...
