Hey. It's been a while.... Did an extensive search on the subject before posting this, I'll be brief. I tow a 3200lb stump grinder with my '89 MJ, 4x4, 4.0, BA 10/5 (75K). Often backing up over curbs, decent inclines, and other assorted backing and jacking to get the machine over the stumps...

I have had this happen many a time and was able to get the nut off by putting a bottle jack under the joint end. Jacking it up, forcing the stud firmly into the bracket, stopped it from spinning and the nut has always come right off.

Unbelievable, Langer. Right on the money. I pulled the ECU today, and back-probed the injector outputs while it was was running. Every injector output fluctuated between negative mV and positive 4.2v, except #1 cylinder output, which read a steady 14 volts. Bendix unit, made in France...

Ok, got 10 quarts of stuff out of the oil pan that smelled mostly like gas. Fresh oil in and have not run it, just cranked to do a wet compression test. With oil squirted into #1 cylinder it read 210 psi at first, then settled down to about 170 after four readings. Wet, the other cylinders...

Got mine from NAPA, as I did the Hella H4's themselves. IIRC they are not unlike the OEM socket, but then again I may not RC...its been a while.
