If your belt is cracking just replace it and use the old one as a spare. I dont know what jackhill442 is thinking but dont listen when he says it wont break. Serpintine drive belts are really nice in that you only have one belt to replace....yet that in it self causes the big problem with it...

If you suspect it is running rich consider getting your injectors cleaned and flow tested. I would also tested what kind of fuel pressure you have in the fuel rail, maybe you have a bad pressure regulator.

Might want to check your fuel pump. Hook up a pressure gage to the fuel rail and see what kind of pressures you are getting. Could also be a presure regulator problem. try some J.B. WELD. you can get it at any auto parts store. it works just the same as if you were to weld the heads back on the bolts except it uses a two compund mix to kind of super glue so to speak the heads to a bolt etc.
