Cross posted for support. Stay the trail does it's best to keep the trails we have open., and they have done a very good job at doing so. WE need to do everything we can to keep our areas open and they need some support. They go to the meetings that you can't go to and put it out there. If they...
Not so much the width. Just known people that had problems with them coming loose. Losta lock tight and constant checking would be my advice. I was going to get them. But I found a set of beadlocks for the front left the rear 5 on 4.5
I don't have a spare, mostly a trail truck so I carry a...
I have a LP D44 from a waggy on mine. The only reason I did it was because I blew up a full carrier detroit in the HP30. Brakes are much better, left it 6on5.5 and just picked up some different beadlocks. I got lucky and got the housing with all the mounts brakets etc already done. Threw some...
I have always done one side at a time. Assembled as much as possible then used a bottle jack/ratchet strap to line up the control arms. Left them loose set the jeep down then tightened them. This may not help, but I also loosened and dropped the bump stops down into the coil to make the swap...
Well the tires wobble a little not too bad really, but just for S&G's I threw one of them on a balancer. 25 oz. of wieght is what the fun little machine said. I have 16oz of Airsoft in each tire. Tire is centered on the beadlock, no run out, blah , blah. No biggie really I can get around and...
I bet it's your canister. It's behind the passenger front bumper. Just look up in there and make sure the lines on either end are attached. If they are and you still only have defrost, switch them around.
I had the same problem twice, it seemed when the tranny (AW4) got a tad warm this would happen. Put on a good size tranny cooler and it's been good so far (4 years) put it in front of the electric fan and hardwired the fan so I could run it on the trail when I thought it was needed.
Death wobble is fun. It makes a normal drive an adventure. Do a search for Death Wobble and you'll figure it out. Mine came back with hydro assist turned out to be a bad tire.
Roof racks make jeeps tip over. Trust me. You would be amazed how top heavy a roof rack w/tire and Hi-Lift makes the jeep. But I see a lot of tippy spots where I wheel. Just my $02.
I would ignore it if I could see straight while it was happening.
Anyway, it was a bad tire. Had 'er doin 60 with 38's on beadlocks. Normal tire issues, no DW. Thanks for all the advice/info.
Now its time to take it out and beat the crap out of the pretty new beadlocks, and see if I can make...
I have messed with the toe, anywhere from 1/16 to 1/4. I swtiched the tires around last night. So I'm trying again today. I just hope its a bad tire. I checked and rechecked all the bushings, all are good and tight, the tire is centered on the beadlock, as I have battled DW in the past been...
