Preliminary Info:
1) 2000 XJ, AW4, Cali emissions, 270ish K miles...
2) I've searched every forum I could think of... CherokeeForum, NAXJA, et. al.
3) Getting a P0122 Code that returns after clearing the CEL
4) Tasks performed to date:
a) Refreshed all Engine Bay Grounds and B(+) cables and...
A little grinding and wire rerouting, and an excellent pipe install from Dave Sutton at Sutton's Speed Shop, and voila... My stroker is happy.
Throttle response is much improved.
Next step is a pre filter on the passenger side cowl...

So while doing my after the holidays checks to make sure everything was in proper order I noticed that my rear leaf springs at the shackles were cantilevered down from outside to inside - about 3.5 degrees through the bolt.
What could cause this and is it normal?
Running 35s with a BDS 4.5...
O2 sensor connectors, IAT, IAC, TPS, MAP, Coolant temp, injectors... All of them had varying degrees of decay leading to voltage loss, which led to the dreaded P1694...
It was all wiring. Don't think I had a single sensor that didn't have at least one melt through/frayed. All repaired with the help of a friend and running like she means business. Thanks for the heads up on where to look.
Ok, here's the issue (and I've searched for anything similar)
2000 XJ - new OEM CPS as of last week didn't resolve the P1694 "No Bus" issue.
Symptoms - laborious start first thing in the morning - happening over the last 3 weeks. Outside temps in the 60s-70s. Engine DOES start. Idles slightly...
