Picked up a 231 transfer case

For this weekend project I'm going to get a roof rack and mount it so i can make it to the rusty build off in bradyville, tn and then go camping after that with some friends. Roof basket gives me more storage and i want it so i can hold my hi-lift jack and a spare tire, not to mention lights...

Since you all are doing a 2wd-4wd conversion i have a question since i also am doing one to my cherokee. Do you have to replace the trans or can you just replace the output shaft? ‎or do you change the output of the 2wd trans to mate -t-case with the shift linkage and handle -front and rear...

Just picked up a 231 transfer case

Just got the radiator, water pump, thermostat, and the 2 hoses replaced. Now its running a lot better. Just bought a 231 transfer case as well, one of many parts for my 4wd conversion

Ohhh alright, i might check that out, but my cherokee is 2wd unfortunately.. Im slowly collecting parts to do a 4wd conversion, just bought a 231 transfer case yesterday for $75
