    4.7 stroker build

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like I have my work cut out for me. Any opinions on what that sound could be. My jeep is 99 4.0 with 141,000 miles. Always stay on top oil changes with Lucas oil products. Recently replaced bottom end gaskit. Motor looked great. Thanks again.

    Weird noise from front end

Check your hubs as well. I've had a similar noise twice. First time it was the hubs and the second time it was my u-joints.

    Trac Bar Issue

just fixed this issue yesterday on my 99 xj. get 2 5/16 washers from home depot .18 cents. and weld one on the front hole and the other on the back hole. the 5/16 washer is the perfect size for that bolt. all of my steering slop and death wobbles are gone. Thank God. It took about an hour...

Pop/clunck f/ driver side when hitting bump??

Check your driver side motor mount just behind the steering gear box. I had the same issue with my 99'. I found that the motor mount rubber isolator had worn out.

    Torque converter failing AGAIN!!!!!

I'm running 32 mt's w/NP231, chrysler 8.25/dana 30 w/3.55 gear ratio and never had an issue. Been this way for about 3.5 years. So I don't think your tire and gear ratio have anything to do with your problem. What type of fluid are you using in the tc? Are you only burning out your tc? Anything...

No one Knows??? What is it???

Yeah I read it. It was the same thing. What I don't get is why aren't my local jeep mechanics hip to this. You think they would have known something about the way those O2 sensors operate. O'well problem fixed with notes taken. Happy Wheelin to all!!!!!

No one Knows??? What is it???

well, after 64 bucks and 15 minutes, the truck is now running perfect! Upstream O2sensor seames to be the colperit. I don't understand why it never threw a code on the ODBll. It has been like that for 3 years and never once was there a check engine light. Thanks again for all the help, my local...

No one Knows??? What is it???

I am willing to try it all!!! thanks for all the advise!!! Now to put it to the test. Will post more to let you guys know what it is. From what I hear, it's not that common of an issue(as the way I describe it). Give me a day, I'll post back. THANKS!!!

No one Knows??? What is it???

it's a 99, 4.0. It doesn't throw the check engine light nor does it throw any codes on the ODB-ll. I have checked the t.p.s., vacumm lines, intakes and throtle body have been cleaned with no change , no better no worse. What is the AIC? That's one thing I don't think I have checked. Thanks guys!!!
