Bumper got some powder coat. As well as a smitty gen 3 9.5k mounted.
Install was very straightforward. I like the spool lighting and load indicator system. Gonna test it out this weekend.
Cant remember the last time I took my own car through an auto wash. Appreciate the info though man! I plan on popping them off and running rtv around the edge to seal them better.
4.5" and 33s are great man. I still have a decent driving experience on roads and freeways, but very capable off road as well with a locker and fender trimming. Although if you have the money to spend, I would just go long arm from the gate.
Finally got a front bumper fabbed up. Shoutout to Jake @ Gatekeeper Offroad over in Tracy. He is a fellow XJ owner and he poured some frickn love into this thing.

Napier hood vents in, they look cool. Once i get my CFM up with e-fans we'll talk.
Little cut n fold and headed down to Alabama Hills followed by Death Valley. This was in March, the best time to hit that area. Great...

Totally understand your concern! I live in the bay area, and as the value increases on our rigs, the likelihood of theft does as well. I run a very basic Autopage 425 with bump sensors and locking lugs. Considering a hidden kill switch as well, but I am curious as well what others are running.
Also installed some Rigid Radiance Pod lights. I used RC mounting brackets. That is and will remain the only RC product on this Jeep.. These things are not that bright @ 900 lumens but I got em more for aesthetics. Installing a light bar later when I can afford a good one.

+1 for a DIY spare carrier. I have a custom drop down hitch mount I just installed a few weeks ago. Its a pain in the ass if I want to open the hatch, but it sure beats having it on top or in the Jeep.
