I'm looking at getting a newer 4.0L for my 92xj. I have a line on a 99 4.0L with lo miles on it, will this motor bolt up or is there something I'm overlooking.

The guy I'm getting the gears from is telling me they are a thick set, and to drill out the holes on the carrier for the ring bolts and it should fit. Does this sound right?

Would a set of 4:10 R&P from the rear D44 of a Rubicon fit a D44 from an xj? I don't play with gears much to know better. I'm running 3:55 now with a 3" lift. The plan is to lift it this winter to 6" on 33's. I have 4:10's for the front already. I'm going to pick up the 4:10 R&P tomorrow for...

So i'm rebuilding my 231 and have this little problem! When i was removing the transfercase I noticed the vent tube was brocken and has been for a while. How do you remove the old piece from the case? I can get vise grips on it, and can even turn the piece a little but cant seem to pull it...

I'm instaling a aussie locker in my D44 rear axle, and ran into a snag with torking the ring gear blots. I have serched on line and for some reason, I'm reading some guys tork em at 80-90 ft lbs, and at the same time, someone els doing the same install on the same rearend will tell ya it's...

So i'm replacing the seals and shaft bearing when i noticed one of the old bearings on the shaft is backwards from the other one? When i puled the shafts out, one shaft came out ok ,the other one left the bearing race in the housing. So witch way is right and witch way is wrong?

I have a 92 xj with a 4"lift I have just instaled I'm going to change the uca and the lca with R E adjustable control arms, and Im wondering if I should get drop brackets also?
