My electric fan runs fine until the engine heats up and then it kind of slowly turns and sometime stops completely and that is with A/C on. Am I looking for another one or is it something else? As soon as the fan cools off then it works fine again.

Yeah i had though of just cutting around it but i wasn't sure if it served a vital function or not. it is the first one i have seen and i have been through about 6 different 4.0's. just didn't know why it was there to begin with.

Okay just looked at the driveshadt and pinion and it is angled up. So I assume a shim that is put in backwardfs will bring it back down? I don't have a t-case but is the crossmember the same as the 4wd one for the t-case? Can I drop the tranny a bit or do I need to with a longer d-shaft? Sorry...
