    XJs broken into

Just a heads up that my XJ and another up the street got broken into on Friday night. We're right around 120th & I-25 in Denver. Idiots took my stereo and subbox but left the tools. They got my bag with the winch ropes, winch remote and shackles which really burned me. Anyway, if you happen to...

    Rusty's offroad email address?

Sort of, I guess. I'm keep the website up and running and handle marketing as well. I try to do whatever I can. I've got a few of his parts here as well but don't focus on sales that much. If there's anything you need, let me know. Thanks-Stretch

    rear end troubles...

One thing to check is make sure you have the shocks mounted body down. Many people have them mounted shaft down and they won't work that way. Also, it may need a transfer case drop. Driveshaft may be trying to bind. Call the tech line tomorrow at 256-442-0607 and Rusty will be more than happy to...

RE drop brackets & engine skid?

Sorry, a little unclear there, got a bit ahead of the cart. Our Engine/Tranny skid mounts to the Lower Control Arm mount with short arm lifts and Upper Control Arm mounts for the long-arm lifts. We use a different crossmember depending on lift type. Thanks-Stretch RustysOffroad.com

    Paint Defects

I had a few obvious blisters where there was rust underneath. Those I could fix by sanding to metal and starting over. The stuff that I'm noticing now doesn't appear to be a rust issue. It's so hard to tell how deep they go. I may try sanding the clear in one section with 800 grit and reclearing...
