it's real, i was on the phone with the parts desk at a local semi trailer dealer, truck-lites dealer list shows mostly bus and truck dealers, but yea the cheapest i found online has been about 260 each, plus shipping to canada.... still not sure about pulling the trigger on the sale tho... very...
at work we've rigged up something similar to the balljoint press using threaded rod, plates and a 100ton jack to deal with stubborn tower connecting pins. if you can't get enough leverage with the ball joint press, tighten it as much as you can, then give it a smack with the bfh
just to put my $.02 in on the spooling of the rope, id go with how it comes out of the fairlead the straightest, and depending how it initially connects to the drum (cant have any reverse bends). If you're ever putting a new cable on, just make sure it goes onto the winch the same way it comes...
Ive searched! cant find any info on this problem, everything used to work fine, even when i replaced my rear cargo light with an LED. all of a sudden one day, no light from the dome or rear cargo lights... my footwell lights come on when i open my doors or hatch.. any help?

A grip puller like this is better than the ratcheting style cable puller, your cable doesnt get twisted and kinked around that tiny spool and caught in the ratchet mechanism.. we use JET brand 1.5 and 3 ton ones almost daily at work

so ive been searching and searching, having a hard time coming up with a definitive answer, ive got a 99 2dr with 4.0/auto/231 i put a RC 3" kit with full leafs on last year, bad vibes after..
guy at a jeep shop recommended a tcase drop so i grabbed some square tubing from work and did a 1"...
the OTK setup looks like the way to go, but itd be a bit more work considering it looks like id need to do up some new swaybar brackets, since the jeep spends more time on the road then off, and almost never sees rocks, i think the currie setup would probably be better for me
after taking a closer look under the jeep nothing is visibly bent, maybe i will start with an alignment...
the JCR kit requires the holes to be reamed for a bigger taper right?
