How do I put this damn oil pan back on?

Bread ties will be your friend. Use a few of them to hold the gasket to the pan, put pan in place, start a few studs, cut/remove bread ties, and button her up. Works like a charm. Good luck.

    Another piston slap/lifter question

I have the EXACT same noise at winter cold startup and as the engine warms it becomes much quieter and a more marbely, if that's a word, noise. What Tools for radiator?

You dont need to pull out the mech fan or shroud to pull the radiator. You need a standard socket set and torx screwdrivers to pull the header brace and hood latch, a vise grip or flat head to pull the hoses depending on what clamps are used, a big adjustable crescent wrench to get the upper...

Timing Chain Noise at Cold Start

I used the one already in there, in that, it did not show any significant damage. I oriented the narrow end the damper towards the timing chain. Is that correct? Also, what are the slots/circles for on the back of the damper? http://info.rockauto.com/Cloyes/Detail.html?95337.jpg
