What if I only have speeds 1 and 2?... If I go to the dealership can I get the assembly at a reasonable price? How hard is it to get to in a 97? Im assuming that if the assembly is available for under 50 bucks than it will be a plug and play typeof operation.....Thanks for any input Kenny

Not an expert here but check out those huge boggers on there.....they are really heavy tires, I bet they were a big part of the problem.

There is a pretty bad crimp in one of my steel cooler lines and I have been searching for a couple of hours to find where I can order a new set of hard lines (with rubber hoses crimped on end). Bolting them on myself would beat hell out of labor costs. Any links are appreciated. Thanks

Thanks guys...I got my fob for my 97 off ebay for 20 bucks shipped, dealer programmed it today for 30 and now it beeps when I lock it. Yay for me.

No....THE WHOLE, ENTIRE, COMPLETE, driveshaft including the pinion flange on the rear end FREELY turns 1/8 rotation OR MORE when the transfer case is in NEUTRAL. There is most definitely, positively, irrefutably slack in the REAR differential as stated above.

I gotta do something about my D35 that has a lockright locker in it. I get the cluck but its not from u-joints. If I park on level ground and put the t-case in neutral I can turn the driveshaft about 1/8 a turn. The rearend has some slack in it from the locker I'm guessing. I didnt install...
