I'm in the process of putting a manual hub conversion kit from EMS on my CAD Dana 30 as well as stronger inner axles. I need to remove the bearing that is that the intermediate shaft rides on near the vacum disconnect housing. Has anybody removed this bearing and how did you get it out?? Thanks

I am looking at swapping 95 yj Wrangler front axle shafts (bigger u-joint) into my 1990 MJ Dana 30. Does it matter if the YJ shafts are ABS or not?? and do I have to switch the intermediate shaft between the carrier and the dis-connec on the passenger side?? Many Thanks

The seal rides on a lip and should be flush with the housing when installed properly.

I have a Dana 44 apart right now. I'll measure from the lip to the outer pinion bearing race tonight and post tomorrow.
