there is a towing harness. ive tried with it plugged and unplugged. pins seem to be straight but i havnt put an actual volt meter on the plug harness yet, thats the next step i guess.

i know this isnt a grand cherokee forum, but im an xj guy who lets his wife drive a wk, so i thought it would be worth a shot! So to start, i HAVE checked every single fuse and all applicable relays and i HAVE googled this and found several people with the same issue but never posting a fix...

'97, 4.0L, AW-4 Auto 4 speed, NP 231 transfer case i dont think its the chain in the transfer case as i would get some slippage at the wheels correct? it mostly does it when its in four but does it rarly when it's in 2wd, and usually just when i hit a bump. i did a nice long slow smooth climb...

we think it was the transmission/transfer case banging around? i dont think it's slipping at all as i never lost traction and continued up the hills no problem. it seemed like when ever we would put a good pull on it and would hit a bump, big or small it would just clunk real loud a few times...

made it up to kremmling today and rode around there for a few hours. attempted side winder. jeep isnt quite what it needs to be yet to knock that one out! gave me some ideas on what i need to work on though! the rodes and trails were pretty dry up there, which is a little unusual for this...

yeah i think that's where we're headed. really close to home for us and a good little push to make sure all the fluids are flowing!

where is everybody from the front range going this time of year?

a few of us from grand county are looking to go out monday for a shakedown before our moab trip in two weeks. any advice on what is open or good at this point in the season? looking for somewhere relatively close, possibly spring creek out of idaho springs? any input with recent trail status...

i have looked all over the internet and several junkyards in denver and havnt found anything! the previous owner replaced the fender and never put the hardware or flare on and i (ie my wife in the passenger seat) am getting tired of spraying mud all over that side of my jeep and in my window...

im looking for aftermarket front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, and a skid for the fuel tank. i've priced them out at 4wheelparts.com and im looking at about $1300! any help finding them cheaper and or used would awesome! thanks! ive got a 1997 cherokee xj sport.
