on board air w/ scuba for storage?

With the right fittings you could certainly fill a SCUBA tank with 120 psi. It will just wont be near its (air) volumetric capacity. If you knock the top off it will probably move around (spin?) but the reason big tanks become projectiles is because they are highly pressurized; so no. You won't...

    Best replacement floor pans?

Rockauto has a cheap set. Are the the best? Eh. But with some convincing I got mine in just fine. Quick shipping, too. FWIW

poping noise when in 4hi & turning

Did the popping noise go away? If the DS is out and its still there,well...well it's not that haha Oh, or is it only in 4hi that it pops. In that case you might be looking at T-case slip if it isn't the u-joints.

poping noise when in 4hi & turning

You sure you didn't break Ujoints? Did you grab the joints and try to wiggle them? If you made a tight Kturn in 4hi I would bet anything that Ujoints are your problem.

XJ!! How high can i go on a short arm kit i already have?

That's what he's saying. Unbent arms will bind against the protrusion behind the spring seat. The bent arms will allow your axle to drop more. But as you say, that wont change the actual problem of having a steep CA angle

New O2 sensor, now it's running rich!

Sometimes that's the problem... Don't write it off as the O2 sensor yet though. It could be something else, that's causing the problem. What, I don't know. Recet the computer and try again?

    LCA question

I wasn't planning on doing it, I was just kind of curious. I realize there is no point, and you are 100% correct, my bucket of rust would almost certainly break a bolt.

added 1.5" shackles & shackle relocation boxes now rear SYE Dshaft is too long?

Re: added 1.5" shackles & shackle relocation boxes now rear SYE Dshaft is too long? Sorry, I read it wrong. For some reason I thought you said your shaft wouldn't reach. Dropping the mounting location for the leaf should rotate the axle down. Like others said, that could mean a shorter...

    LCA question

I know, I mentioned that. Just curious to see if anyone can think of any benefits or problems that would arise. I can think of a few for the latter, but I'm wondering if anyone has thought about this and has any potential benefits.

Just got a 99 xj and the front end is rigged have questions.

Take out the intra-spring spacers. (are they the poly ones or those terrible metal ones, either way, get em out). They suck and if you flex enough they'll dismount at least, shift and damage your springs at worst. Are you saying there IS a proper drop bracket or that the guy just "drilled...

added 1.5" shackles & shackle relocation boxes now rear SYE Dshaft is too long?

Re: added 1.5" shackles & shackle relocation boxes now rear SYE Dshaft is too long? Did you take the leaf's completely out? Maybe you put them in backwards.

    LCA question

Quick question, it may be stupid (I'm not looking at the jeep currently, nor have I made any measurements...Just curious if anyone has done it) I was thinking, would there be any benefits/problems that would arise from switching the lower control arm directions. Let me clear that up. I've...

Need advice on moving front axle forward

Trim her up and your rubbing problems go away. There are several threads that allow you to keep your flares, too, if that is what you want. If you haven't already, I'd say it's something you should do anyway. I guess my question is this: What do you want as the end result? Do you simply want...

Need advice on moving front axle forward

Just an FYI, if you lower the lift a little you should see an axle that sits a bit more forward. It's constrained by the CA's. Drop the lift and you rotate the arms up a bit. Rotate the arms, you move the axle forward a bit. 7" is a bit high for 33"s I'm with the others though. DB's should fix...

    Heres what I did today...

I haven't posted here in a while... This past weekend I: --Replaced cruddy O2 sensor --installed home-made cowl sorta-CAI. (I'll put some pics up later since that seems to be the norm for this thread) --replaced the drivers side floor (though, I still have to weld it up. It's only being held...
