    Goatfest

I don't intend to go with a plan. Just go with the flow.

    Keeping Steering Gearbox attached

I didn't like that sector shaft brace... It was definitely loose when we took the box out. I think it doesn't do enough to prevent rotational play in it even when it's tight. Perhaps a frame brace would help. It could be that the aluminum spacer is deformed causing the box to be stressed...

Project Unicorn - a light duty trail rig

Atlas in a 2wd XJ... :wow: :laugh2: There is a ton of bolt on bullshit out now for armor and stuff. Why not just collaborate with Dallas and think up something a little custom and different? Do you already have these rubicon d44s around? I'm thinking of building a TJ rubicon 44.

    Damage to under body

It's a dark photo, but it looks like it's part of the rocker by the rear leaf spring perch?

2000 Jeep XJ Over heating issue

I took the liberty of looking up your fan setup. They sure do mention how much HP and weight loss you get by running it, but there's no mention of how many CFMs the fans pull. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that these fans aren't pulling enough to properly cool. I'm not going to say...

Cal said I needed a build thread

It's definitely something I want to do, but it won't be immediately on my plate. I went to the dunes and camped with the Bakersfield Trailblazers. It was pretty fun besides the next door neighbors in the camping area. So I've got a little over 2 weeks to do a lot of PM to the jeep. I need a 29...

Cal said I needed a build thread

So I installed the Comanche tailgate today. It was a fun little project. Definitely a different piece of work. I didn't seem to take any progress pictures. I got extremely dirty today and I don't like touching my phone whom I'm dirty. I can take some pictures of the specifics later. Heres a...

So the rear tubes were bent with a conduit bender, and the front was done with a JD2 32 with the hydraulic ram. The bumper is over 10 years old. A friend of mine made it when he was 15 He's 27 now. As you can see it matches the rear quarters really well if I still had rear quarters. I'll have to...

Cal said I needed a build thread

I was able to finish up the roof rack and cleaned up everything. I put the interior back together with some added flair. Right now I need a few weeks off from this thing. I do want to try to do the AC compressor OBA setup before the Coyote lake trip at the end of the month. Also want to get the...

Jeep Tried To Kill Me! New Steering, New Trackbar with Welded Mount(pops & Wanders)

Re: Jeep Tried To Kill Me! New Steering, New Trackbar with Welded Mount(pops & Wander It most likely is the steering box, especially if there's a bunch of play in the steering wheel before the wheels turn.

I started to mount the roof rack to the cage, but it was just entirely too hot to work outside today. I might go back out after dinner to see if I can finish the job. I made these to weld to the top of the cage. I have to drill holes in the cage so the rack can be mounted as low as it can get.

    Coyote lake July 28-31

I can't believe I posted this before you. I thought it had to be done since we're less than a month out now.
