    Parting out a 93 4-dr Country

As long as it will fit a 96 cherokee (non sport, etc), i would love to get the drivers-side fender flare with hardware. Just really need the metal rails and the bolts. Already have the splash guard. Also need the bulb, bulbholder, and a little length of wire from the passenger-side turn signal...

    Help w/ swapping out condenser!

I know its unpressurized since I wasted $40 worth (3 cans) of the AC refiller and it blew all over my grill and driveway. So I need to take the radiator out to get the condenser out? dammit :(

    Help w/ swapping out condenser!

I did search and have looked at the FSM, but how the heck to I swap out my condenser? Just didn't seem too clear. I tried doing it myself but stopped halfway through because it seems I just don't have enough access to it. Does the whole front clip have to come off? Do all the bolts on the top...

did cluster (w/tach) swap and temp gauge not working

Sorry for the double post! I did go down to Autozone and pickup the temp and oil senders that their computer specifys for being "with gauge" whereas the others in his system are "with light". Bum part is, I installed the temp one (closest one to firewall, driver's side, right up against the...

Blowing cold air, not thermo. ??

vent, bilevel, and defrost are now (once I added the longer hose going into the core) are now blowing hot air. When sitting inside the vehicle and you slide the controls to these settings, you can hear the vacuum moving the "plates" on the inside of the ducts to make things happen. I do...

Blowing cold air, not thermo. ??

You got it right on the nail! Check the lines going into the heater core (even tho my core is probably blocked since my "heat" setting doesn't blow any air) and there was a small bend in the lower hose. Replace the hose and gave it a little more length, and it works like a charm now. Thanks all...

Blowing cold air, not thermo. ??

Hmm, seems like the vacuum lines just affect if the air comes out or not (not the temperature) from what I am reading about. My only other thought is: could the head somehow be cracked??? But then again, wouldn't I notice that when I look at my oil dipstick or wouldn't the jeep run shitty? Ahh...

Blowing cold air, not thermo. ??

I -normally- have hot air blowing in all positions except "heat". I have just always used my "vent" and "bi-level" positions to heat myself. And for some reason, now it has stopped producing warm/hot air....just cold air (still strong tho!). I just don't understand if the upper radiator hose is...

Blowing cold air, not thermo. ??

Okay, the heater portion of the HVAC has never worked since ive had the 96 XJ (busted core? dunno). Never really concerned me because the "vent" setting and "bilevel" setting did just fine. Defrosters have always worked perfect too. Nice strong hot breeze blowing through. I take a 6 hour drive...

did cluster (w/tach) swap and temp gauge not working

http://www.the-jersey-devil.com/shop/html/p209.htm show that part number for a YJ. Hmmm... I just did the gauge swap on my 96 XJ to a gauged cluster from 93 or 94 and I -too- am trying to get the right part numbers for switching my temperature sender and my oil sender. This is turning out to be...

WTB: '96 XJ trans dipstick and oil cap

It seperated in half somehow from the bouncing around and now just the bottom half is left. No spring in the middle or top part. Can't grip the bugger! I could get another one at an auto shop, just wondering if anyone with a tranny stick had a cap laying around :)

WTB: '96 XJ trans dipstick and oil cap

Sometimes the smallest parts are hard to find! WTB a transmission dipstick for a '96 XJ 4.0L HO 6cyl with A/T. If you have an extra Oil Cap laying around too, that would be nice also. Please PM me! Thanks!
