I second everything said here about Yakima racks. Been using a set on my 98 for about 15 years. The attachments to the rain gutter are very strong. Bought an upright arm to carry more than two kayaks....I've been known to have 5 boats on the racks!
Thanks. Yep made it up for a while. Checked out Wolf Den and Slab Pile. Wanted to make sure my lift was good for off road. Nice trails...but DUSTY as hell...coulda used some rain....and mud!
Hah...she's put up with me for 40 years...guess I better be kind to her. Plus she's got the best dude in the field at the Medical University in Charleston.
My wife is NOT into camping...I'll tag a hotel nearby....there are some about 45 miles away.
