    can i get the connector off of the newer starter and mount it on the older one so i can use the facory wire connector instead of cutting it off and putting a round eye on it?

    well theres no cat or exhaust and it didnt blink before this.he will get a new exhaust on today and then well check codes afterwards if they are still there. before this the light came on about a month ago with a small evap leak which we were trying to track down. thank you

    my son broke down last nite in his 2000 cherokee. it died and wouldnt start as he was driving. we pushed it into a lot and found that a vacuum line had popped off on the intake just below the throttle body. i found it on the ground right where it originally died and it started once put on again...

    thank you all for the advice. we finally got it last nite. we opened the large nut(bleeder)on the end of the combination block and pumped the pedal a few times before any fluid came out from around the threads.then we mashed the pedal very hard a few times after we closed that nut back...

I did pull fluid from each reservoir in the mc so it was just under 1/2 filled.then I had him push the pedal just a 1/2 inch down and I saw fluid fountain up from the holes in the bottom of the mc.im sure now that...

    thanks guys. we will look into all of these tonite starting with the pushrod length.ive read to set it properly you take most of the fluid out and then press down on the pedal 3/8 to 1/2 inch and look for the fluid to spout up from the holes at the bottom of the mc. does this sound right?

    thanks, I will take the mc off of the booster and look at the rod and stroke tonite. I believe the mc is 1-1/8 and the booster is single.

    ive done this on my sons Toyota(the write-ups said as long as its after the main valve its ok)and ive also done it on my 86 montecarlo to reduce the braking in the rear.

    its a dana 60 front with 3/4 ton calipers and a 14 bolt rear with the same 3/4 ton caliper setup.all works fine but in a sudden or panic stop on the street the rears lock up.i would like to adjust just the amount going to the rear after the main prop valve.
