    What's your favorite tool?

Victorinox Swisstool Multitool. Saves me many trips back to the tool chest, especially at work. Good quality, heavy duty construction. At home, a good quality, 240V welder is worth investing in.

    Stainless Steel Hi-Flo Cat 2.5 to 2.5

I can't seem to find Magnaflow cats with O2 bungs, the Thunderbolts are the only ones I can find so far. Can anyone point me in the direction of a Magnaflow 2.5 to 2.5 with an O2 bung?

    Stainless Steel Hi-Flo Cat 2.5 to 2.5

I am looking for someone who makes a Stainless Steel Hi-Flo Cat 2.5 to 2.5 inch. Does anyone know of a company that manufactures one? My plans are for a Banks Monster 2.5" stainless cat back kit with a 2.5" stainless steel flex section between the downpipe and the cat. In a few years I'm...

Benefits to having a catalytic converter???

Once again, name calling is not required in a decent conversation. The fact is, I do have a catalytic converter on my Jeep, and always will because of provincial regulations. The issue is not that of the converter, it is someone else telling me what is right and wrong. You do what you want, I do...

Benefits to having a catalytic converter???

The main thing that's bothering me is that you're telling me what is right and wrong, and you repeated that in this message. And if you're going to make comments about poor air quality, global warming and such, then you should really look at your choice of vehicle, not whether it has a catalytic...

Benefits to having a catalytic converter???

no need for name calling. also no need for someone to tell me what is right for me to do. you make your decisions, don't lecture me on mine. also don't yap about air quality when you're not driving an economical vehicle. see my point?

Benefits to having a catalytic converter???

The main thing that bothered me in the original thing he wrote was "the right thing to do." He's got no right to judge what is right and wrong for me. And the fact that he owns not one, but two gas guzzling Jeeps with a "high flo cat" that probably don't do as well for emissions as stock ones...

Benefits to having a catalytic converter???

"The right thing to do?" Why has no one flamed this guy? :lecture: Buy a pure electric car if you want to do the right thing, instead of running two large Jeeps.

    Alpine speaker owners

Are you replacing anything else at the same time? Head unit, adding an amp, anything? Because running stock stereo power into good speakers really won't make a huge difference. It's when you start running better power (a good head unit or amp) to better speakers that you notice major...

    Alpine speaker owners

I did a custom install...all front speakers in the front door - Alpine Type R 6" woofer, 5 1/4 woofer and tweeters. Put my crossovers under the back seat, amps on the back of the back seat and bolted my Focal sub to the floor in the rear cargo area. Alpine Type S are ok...personally wouldn't go...

    Alpine speaker owners

Mine were too deep to fit in the doors (Type Rs). Had to make spacers. Can you be more specific about what kind of issues you're thinking about or having?
