    Chainsaw recommendations?

My 18" Poulan is old and used, but runs like new. The Walbro carb is easy to tune, and It will sit and idle while i grab a new log to saw... Good power, and spare chains are cheap-n-easy to find. Run 100 Low Lead Av-Gas for fuel, and it will never need new fuel lines...

    Forced Induction Stroker?

The MOTEC system is the best, and makes the tune easy with a laptop pc. http://www.motec.com/m600/m600overview/ On a boosted inline 6, there is nothing better, and it is so easy to tune! :peace:

87 Waggy spark plug engine problem pictures!!

hmmmm..... I can not see the pictures, but could this be a case of two bad injectors on #1 and #2??? That could wash out the ring seal, and make it pump more oil??? Here are two ideas... A. Go buy two new Champion spark plugs in a higher heat range. If you run RC12YC, then buy two of...

No Spark, No Fuel, and No Idea What to Do

Almost sounds like the ASD system and relay thinks the XJ was in a bad crash. In a bad wreck, the ASD is supposed to shut off fuel and spark. If you just try a new relay, that tells me nothing. If you try the paper clip trick, it may tell me the answer... If I go out to my 1995 XJ and jumper...

    Back firing bad!

I also think the timing chain is suspect. Check the TDC and timing mark, and see if it is off. Then a compression test is a great idea. If all cranking pressures are within 10 percent, it should be an easy fix. If all are below 120 psi, and one or more is below 100, get ready to take the...

No Spark, No Fuel, and No Idea What to Do

Fuel is a great place to start. Here is a trick from North Dakota... Take out the fuel pump relay, and grab a paper clip. Look at the bottom of the relay, and figure out what it takes to jump #30 to #87. Then jump those with the paper clip, and see if the fuel pump starts to hum. If that...

    ford 9 rear worth it?

The Ford 9" is very strong, and that is what the NASCAR boys run behind the 900HP FR-9 Race Engines. If it has low gears, like 4.11 or 4.56 or perhaps 4.88, it would be awesome with some 33" or larger tires too... Seems like the price is right.

    fuel sender/pump brands...

Always just save up, and get the Bosch fuel pump unit. I just installed the Bosch Fuel Pump on the old 1995 XJ, and it was easy. The Bosch is the turbine-pump design, and they are quiet. The install of the Bosch Fuel Pump on the 1995 Cherokee only took 4 hours and a six-pack.

    steering problems

Since you put the Rusty's long arm upgrade on, the quick guess is to just adjust each lower control arm until they are about 3/8" longer.... If that makes it drive better, than it was low on Caster...
