    Ebay - 14 inch lift

Some people never learn. Makes you think though. If an axleshaft breaks in the forest and there's no way to hear it over the roar of the redlining engine, Does it make a sound?

    Fargin' STOOPID corporate policies...

:laugh2: are you still running your business as a nonprofit Beejy? Why are you afraid to make a living? Milk the government, work your staff like slaves and roll around in a loaded bimmer like your wife wants you to! :D

    contol arm lengths?

Re: control arm lengths? No it isn't. Look again. No, no, no. His Tomken LCA's are not stock length, stock length is 15.75", he wrote, right in his first post: that they are 16.75". And no, not most, and not all fixed control arms are stock length. What's going on in this thread? The signal to...

    Front End? Jitters

More info needed. Did you get an alignment after the BB install? If not, do that pronto. Gojeep's site tells you how to do it yourself. Did you install longer shocks with the original lift, or longer ones after the BB? Any steering upgrades done at any point? Everything tightened properly and...

    contol arm lengths?

Yes you will need new lowers, or have them shortened to fit. Go by Jim's (Yucca-man) chart. The other one (below) is useless as tits on a boar: Don't count on this working. Those are not meant to adjust for this problem. They aren't stock, they're tomken. Read it again.

    What next to mod?

How about a front axle to go with that rear. The D30 is barely adequate for 35's and definitely not adequate if its locked. If not the axle, definitely go with some heavy duty steering components to match your 35's.

    contol arm lengths?

It will always ride that way without long arms or drop brackets. The problem is that the steep angles introduced to the control arms with the 6" lift, deflect more NVH to the unibody, making it ride rough. Brackets and long arms each have pros and cons. Long arms are ideal for prerunners and...

    Oh members! Do tell....

One day I'll join. It'll be easier when I'm not watching birds mate up here on the Arctic tundra. I've been emailing Beej, as he's my main jeepin liaison, but he's been keeping quiet on the subject. Tell me more, before my satellite connection dies on me again. What's he been hiding from me...

need an opinion on a camaro

Get it professionally appraised. Insurance appraisals are useful too. The most I ever paid for a showcar appraisal was $750 CDN. Totally worth it to me.

    contol arm lengths?

There is a factory-installed dent in the down tube that lots of people mistake for being 'crushed' by some suspension or driveline component. Fact is, it isn't crushed, its tuned from the factory. My post still stands. If you lengthen your control arms beyond their calculated length, you will...

    debateable, d44 vs 8.25

I've thrashed an 8.25 with stock axles, no slip and 35's. It withstood the punishment very well. My locked 44 in the same application grenaded sooner, but I chalk that one up to the locker. MistWolf, your offered combinations are high-dollar glam that's unnecessary in the Cherokee. A D60 is...

    contol arm lengths?

?? There's an expression called SPOBI. Much more important than concerning yourself with an "S bend" is your caster. Adjustable upper and lowers allow more flexibility in the caster adjustment. Keep your Tomken arms the way they recommend them, they are manufactured to fit. aside from that...

I see at least two timeouts and note that our reputation features have changed radically. Do tell. Is all well behind the curtain? Or did the wizard let something out of his robe? Is it ongoing, or did you all kiss and make up? :kissyou: Inquiring minds want to know... I expect to see a...
