    ga xj stuff fs

got some stuff FS in the atlanta area. 6" rusty's off road lift kit- includes 6" spring packs, 1.5" warrior shackles, 6" coils, adjustable UCAs, fixed LCAs, HD track bar conversion (adjustable, no TRE frame side mount). does NOT include shocks! the rear packs sagged about an inch, but with the...

Some of the worse engineering ever seen

sure it might be for show only, and the shaft might be within its parameters, but the rest of it is downright scary. i realize show trucks are about the bling, big lifts, and big tires, but id at least like to see some safe setups..

    Air intake addapter...... (shaker hood)

he's not talking about using the AC compressor to provide any change in manifold pressure. he's speaking of using a seperate AC coil as an intercooler, just like the F150 lightning's supercharger (the new one). doing this on a non-forced induction vehicle won't give you any noticeable increase...

Best Steering Stabilizer for a lifted rig

they are probably all the same. and if you are relying on a super strong steering stabilizer to make your jeep drive OK then you're probably overlooking a greater problem.. i use one from rusty's and it has worked fine. bigger shock body than stock.

Help, I Cant Think Of The Name Of This

so you have to get out and lock it every time you do a downhill? lame. revolvers are lame IMO too, but some people like them. i do think they work better on longer wheelbase rigs like our XJs though. ive personally seen a YJ with revolvers get a nasty case of wheel hop which resulted in a...

    37's 38's on a DD, FW axles

didnt know they made 38" all terrains now.. you better beef the crap out of the steering :) toughest, easiest front end would be a HP driver's drop dana 60 from a ford, but they are hard to find... 44s are easier, and might handle it OK if you arent stupid with the go-pedal.

    Another Dana30 Stearing relocator???

www.goferitoffroad.com has had those for a while. they seem to work well. edit: now that i look at it, those are the exact same pictures. and its $3.something more expensive there. wonder if goferit knows about this??

    Custom X-Member/long arm Help.....

i would try to keep the stock driveline angle or lower the trans rather than raising it up. rusty's has an xmember that lowers the trans 1" but affords the same clearance as a stock member. if you use stout enough material you should be able to not lose clearance but drop the trans a bit, or at...

    Rolled/Cut splines......Metal Bitches please......

sounds like a great idea :) people thought the wright bros were wasting their time too.. there's an article on bc4x4.com about dual t-cases in an MJ, you might want to check that out. call klune-V and see if they have info that couple point you in the right direction..

    8" Long Arm Travel kits

i never did like skyjacker's stuff, but to each his own. ive personally never had any problems with rusty's. ive heard good things about clayton's LA setup. RE has one too, havent heard much, but if it holds up to their reputation then it should be good stuff.
