    Axle Swap Bracket Question?

Well, I did exactly what your suggesting. I put in a waggy D44 and welded on my own truss, coil buckets, and mounts but moves them up about 3 inches for the upper mounts and 2.5 for the lower and it worked great. Steers and handles fine, just have the small dead spot in the steering from the...

FSJ wag axles in a 01 xj work?

And this one has a few more in-process pics of the welding and cutting I did on the waggy d44 front end in order to geti it under my Cherokee. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1114855&highlight=d44+truss&page=2

FSJ wag axles in a 01 xj work?

I put an 80's waggy front D44 in my cherokee about a year to year and a half ago. I trimmed off half the cast in spring perch on the pumpkin and welded on new short arm brackets with a truss of my own design. I raised the mounts a few inches so it would improve the short arm angles and improve...

    renix air intake mod

When I first moved to this craptastic state I was sent home because my jeep didn't have the factory airbox for this same reason. So I bought one with a rusted up unit on a junk yard airbox and have been fine since then. Probably 10 years ago there was at least one air tube that was CARB approved...

    No injector pulse no start

It lives again! I checked to make sure the wire wasn't shorting to ground and re-attached the fuzable link I got from O'Reilly's and it finally started up again. I even swapped back in my original ECU and it still ran great. Thanks all for the help in getting this going again. I did run into...

    No injector pulse no start

So as long as I have no short on the output side to ground I should be able to replace it with an actual fuze and fuze socket and not worry about this fuzable link in the future. Hopefully this is the only easter egg I have and there aren't others hiding...

    No injector pulse no start

I do have continuity between terminal 87 and both C11 and D10 after checking again. My jumper wire I was extending my multimeter wires with had a blown fuze earlier. I did find something interesting though. There was an orange wire coming off the starter relay that was broken and looked like it...

    Yes it has battery voltage.

    No injector pulse no start

I assume you mean I should get continuity between 87 and D10 by saying this right? So I tried a continuity check between the 87 terminal of the fuel pump relay socket (relay out) to the D10 and C11 terminals on the ECU and didn't get any contact. I tried backprobing the ECU connectors (ECU was...

    No injector pulse no start

Never mind, I tried again and got 4.39 volts. Must not have been making contact. I connected a syringe to the vaccume port on the map and was able to get the output voltage to change from the 4.39 down to 3.6 volts as I pulled more vaccume and then return to reference when I let off the vaccume...

    No injector pulse no start

It looks like my map sensor has 5 volts on terminal c which is reference, but on terminal b there is no voltage at all. This it with the key on but engine not running (by back probing the connector). So I believe that means I need a new map sensor right?

    Dana 30 Build

Re: Dana 30 Build Questions From what I've seen SFR makes a quality product and put a lot of research into doing it right. It wasn't available when I upgraded but I was determined to get rid of my 30 anyways, and like I said, to each their own.

    Dana 30 Build

Re: Re: Dana 30 Build You telling me! That's crazy $! It works for some folks I suppose, but I felt way better getting D44 from a waggy, install gears, a spool, hubs, and ram assist and I spent $900 total and it works great. Can't tell the spool is there hardly with the ram assist and I have...
