stock shackle replacment question (with pics)

What did you end up doing? I'm dropping the height down a bit and want to go from an extended shackle back to stock. I stopped by the local dealer and they wanted $127 ea! Current plan right now is to go with the ones from quadratec.

ZJ fan clutch install and radiator interference

That's what I was guessing, but wanted to check first as it seems like I always end up doing a lot of needless stuff.

ZJ fan clutch install and radiator interference

Before I go and try and prop the radiator out of the way without draining, I need a little sanity check please. I'm trying to install a ZJ fan clutch (NAPA 272310), but I'm not able to clear the studs to slip it on as I'm hitting up against the radiator (CSR 3-row). Am I missing something...

    Water pump impeller erosion

This water pump (allegedly new) was installed early 2007 by a shop. I never had any cooling issues until about 3 months ago when the radiator started leaking. The coolant was a nasty brownish/red color, but figured it was that way because it hasn't been touched since the pump replacement. I...

Web host server as mapped network drive?

Well if they say it's secure then it must be right? :D I'm looking into setting up our own fileserver too. But now I'm responsible for setting it up and the maintenance, which I'm not too excited about. On a side note...While looking around at the options, there seems to be a lot of cloud...

Web host server as mapped network drive?

I'm the IT guy for our small engineering company, unfortunately I'm no IT guy. We are primarily contractors/consultants all working in separate physical locations. We've been using dropbox for the last couple of years to store/share all of our files. For the most part we've been happy with how...

    Pool Equipment Electrical Problem

Yep, did that and it's all working fine now. The absence of a ground wire to the location and seeing the neutral bus connected to a ground rod led me to wrongly assuming that neutral = ground. Obviously I have some more learning to do on AC electrical systems. Thanks all for the help! -Joe

    Pool Equipment Electrical Problem

Yeah, I was just talking to someone about this. I assumed that since the neutral bus was connected to a ground rod at the main breaker box that the neutral wire was the same as ground. I assumed this because the previous installer did not run a ground wire from the box, and I didn't take good...

    Pool Equipment Electrical Problem

Cliffs: - Pool pump is on a 220V circuit - always runs fine. - Separate 110V circuit on GFI breaker (brand new) for pool heater/outdoor receptacle constantly trips when pump ground and heater ground are connected. - Everything is fine if heater circuit is completely isolated from pump. This is...
