Yeah, That cage is a bit overbuilt for my taste. It has twice as many tube bends as it probably needs, and aintright pretty much said it all. That last pic is looking pretty awesome, though. Can't wait to see how it ends up.

Personally, I prefer the swap. I saw a guy on comancheclub who was selling a set of d44 d60 axles with 4.10s in them for 800. They will require some welding and new brackets, but in the end, that is a LOT of added strength. I ended up with a d44 9 inch combo, and I'm pretty happy with that. But...

Yeah, I've done some careful considering and research and got a custom trackbar made to fit it, I resized my steering linkage, and I'm keeping the long arms. I'll post a pic as soon as it's installed.

Actually, with all the money the po must have spent on this, I'm surprised he didn't invest in an adjustable track bar. As for the brackets, they seem to be in the correct position, albeit terribly welded in the correct position.
