Talking about the 4WD indicator sensor. Both part-time and full-time modes are lit up on the dash, even though the jeep is in 2WD. Thinking the 242 should have a different sensor than the 231 since there's no Full-Time mode in a 231...? Looking online, I'm not seeing 2 different sensors...

Hey guys, need a new t-case sensor for my 242 t-case in a 2000 XJ. Looking online and can't seem to find any info. I can't imagine that the 231 and 242 would have the same sensor, but nothing I'm seeing says if the sensors are any different. Thanks in advance for any info!

Hey guys, Putting a Golen 4.6 stroker in my XJ in a few months and looking for options to rebuild my AW4 trans and 242 t-case, since they are approaching 260k miles. Any kits available to increase line pressure to strengthen the AW4 to hold up to that stroker better? Other mods? Not looking...

Hey guys, anyone know where to source a new large intake hose that goes in between the throttle body and the air filter box for a 2000 XJ? Mine is old enough that it's cracking due to age, so I need to source a new one. Checked Rock Auto and a couple of places and got nothing. Thanks!

That sounds more like my issue. I don't think there's anything wrong with the battery though. I'd be interested to hear if that does the trick...

It's funny how it cranks sometimes. It won't just keep turning over until it starts, but the starter seems to disengage and I'll have to stop and hit the key again. It's like the starter will only engage for so long before it won't turn the engine any more...

Hey guys, My 2000 XJ has an issue I can't figure out. Most of the time, it starts just fine. Other times, it takes a while to start and I have to try a few times. Sometimes, it will backfire and blow the vacuum line off of the side of the intake manifold. Once it starts it runs just fine...

If new plugs and an injector made it run worse before it gets hot, I can't help but wonder if they did something wrong there...

My issue did actually turn out to be the CPS in this case...

That front bumper is pulling it down a bit too. Nothing a small spacer won't fix if desired. 31's will work for street driving, but if you want to disconnect the swaybar and hit the trails, 31's will knock the flares off. Why not do some fender trimming and go with 32's? :D
