    Cherokee's in funeral?

I left work today in Whitman, MA this morning at 11am or so. I ran into the beginning of what looked like a funeral procession (sp?). The thing that caught my eye right away was a big, lifted XJ covered in mud. Hmmmmm, I thought. A few more cars with headlights on and another LIFTED Cherokee...

    external eng. parts and performance

I have a 93 XJ with 130k on the 4.0 and only a Dynomax cat back exhaust. I want to do plugs, wires, cap/rotor, ghetto/fab K&N. Is there any specific recommendations for the above parts? Also, I may need new exhaust soon and I want to go with a Flowmaster 50 series. Is there a cheaper twin to...

    Fastest XJ

If you were actually drunk driving, you should get your head ripped off in a firey crash ASAP. If you were kidding about driving drunk, then... HA, HA, HA!

    XJ's around Whitman, MA. area?

Well, I like it a lot. Had it on my 87 and now one on my 93. Sounds great and seems to free up a bit of seat-of-the-pants hp. Goes in and fits like a charm with factory hangers. Regarding the TB spacer, I'll have to look up the differences. I wonder what the changes are with; 1) Spacer 2)...

    poor mans stroker

O believe the HO and non-HO differences lie in the heads mostly with the actual block being the same. Isn't the 4.5 stroker made by using a 258 crank?

    XJ's around Whitman, MA. area?

It's stock except for a Gibson exhaust. I want to cover acceleration/braking and handling. 1) Poly bushings on both swarbars, Monroe Sensi-tracs F&R then see how she feels. 2) Bored TB, TB spacer, FIPK, header and ignition/tune up stuff. 3) Swap a pair of 4cyl axles w/ 4:10's in them with a...

    XJ's around Whitman, MA. area?

Yup! there 's ricers here and I'm fixin' to show 'em up! They travel up Rt. 27 past my street and I can hear the coffee can exhaust from my house. I'm gonna build up my XJ to beat them from the light (it never fails... they always line up on the wrong side and try to git past.)

    wrecked my jeep

I have a 96 Country with no rust, runs and drives great. It's got 190k on it and does not smoke... just passed inspection. I'd love to get $1700.00 (or more, he, he!). It's green and gray with power everything. The Kenwood CD player wont come on for some reason but otherwise it's great. Tires...

Anyone self-install a Remote Start system?

When mine came with a 2 hour movie of the install, I returned it and had a pro do it. Over 3 years later and NO problems.

Re: Dont go to Mike's Transmision in Brokton! In "PO the Ricers" I refered to an El Camino... That was HIS (Mikes). I never thought too much of him from what I had heard from other car guys. That was a personal thing not refering to his quality of workmanship though. This stuff pisses me off...

Well get it and print it would ya? Just kidding! Thanks, I wonder if I can go to a GM dealer 'cause a Jeep dealer is about an hours drive from me.

    Rounded,broken,burried lug nut!!!!

Yeah, the chrome jacket came off of mine. Then it became 18mm. I drove to get an 18mm 3/4 drive and IT rounded off as well. For now, I carry two Fix-A-Flat cans. The tire guy I know says it's just a matter of manual labor. Basically, anything you can reasonably do... chisel, torch, smaller...

    HORN... exploded diagram????

OK, thanks. What do you get, do you remember? To clarify, I need the assembly at the steering wheel, not the horn itself.

    HORN... exploded diagram????

Does anyone have an exploded diagram of a 93 XJ horn assembly? Mine had to be taken apart because it kept sticking "on". That was last winter! Now I forgot how everything goes back together and I need ahorn for inspection. Thanks alot! PS my manual had NOTHING on it.
