i did the same thing as intrepid... its a super easy little tack weld. or you could try wedgin a screwdriver (that you dont care about) in there to hold it still also...
yea i figured that you meant eye to eye.... and it was cold outside, its close....
im still gonna try... or do something to get less lift... out of the 4.5 ZJ coil
hmm well.... compressed length is 17ish, and extended, which is as far as it goes out is right at 26.25 or so...
neither mesurement is eye to eye.... but top to bottom....
so... i guess ill just have to try it.. i just dont want to break them i they are mx6s and thad be a big loss

i have 4.5 RE coils for a ZJ and their respective shocks....
i know its going to net me more like 5.5 and i should be OK in the front....
what about the rear? will the rear shocks from a ZJ be within an inch of correct length for an XJ?
did a quick search but would like to know if anyone has...
i agree with montana... stock gears are cool until you get on some 33s or bigger... id just do it when you want to swap in a nother axle, like and 8.8 lots have 4.10s and LS, so you junkyard it and then just buy teh front gears and your done. cheaper better solution.
32x11.5s will fit on...
i wish i had my old ZJ...
they thought long and hard what to call it and they did the right thing

any idea the differences of the "sentry" and non sentry? models with security? and not? id rather have doors with manual locks and windows, so will that vehicle not have the sentry key?
