Fair enough, I didn't think about that. Especially considering its a 2 ton trailer.

Just wanted to get some of the forum member's opinions on building up my XJ for towing. I'll be towing my 911 track car + trailer - race weight on the Porsche is 2750lbs, trailer is 1100, plus about 300 pounds of tools/rain tires/incidentals, for a total of around 4200lbs or so...
I used to live in NOVA (Tysons Corner) and just recently moved to the Shenandoah Valley. I can tell you as far as NOVA goes, there really isnt anywhere to wheel (legally). There is some decent stuff in the valley (mostly GW National Forest) though, definitely some trails you can tackle in 2wd...
