    Rear ARB no worky

Both solenoids were wasted. here is a picture with the solenoid removed from the valve. Now with air line disconnected the air to locker will blow my thumb off of the outlet. Maybe my thumb is calibrated I connected the rear line directly to the compressor. here is a picture of the new solenoid.

    Rear ARB no worky

I defiantly have oil backed all the way up to the compressor, I see oil in the rear hole after removing the line. I guess I'll buy one new solenoid to see if I get more pressure. Has anyone tried hooking the line directly into the compressor? I can see doing this for the rear. Is there a...

    Rear ARB no worky

I just replaced the seals in the rear ARB, and found the line was full of oil. I pull the lines off of the compressor to test the solenoids and blow the oil out of the rear line. Google says use carb cleaner to blow the lines out. O-ring seals at the compressor are crushed and some A/C guy has...

Death wobble despite trying (almost) all solutions

OK, I am assuming that we have ruled out the trackbar, ball-joints, tierod ends etc... Get four big guys. Two on each side of the jeep. Get them pushing back and forth on the front-end of the Jeep and really get it rocking side-to-side. Now do a visual inspection of the front-end something has...

242 tcase won't go into 2WD. Not linkage?

Thanks for input, I'll try some of the stuff mentioned. If I can get it into 2wd I won't have to worry about it until next winter. Deep down, their must be some kind of shift fork problem.

242 tcase won't go into 2WD. Not linkage?

My kids jeep will not go into 2WD high. All winter he drove it in FUll-time 4WD. When you shift to 2WD it is actually in Part Time 4WD High. I disconnected the linkage and pry bared it to the 2WD location. I turns out that the linkage is correctly adjusted? Any help would appreciated.

    Harmonic Balancer question

I replaced one on my 88', and had to cut some of the cross hatching to get the puller on it remove the old one. When you go to install the new one I suggest heating it up, maybe even boiling it to expand the hole. I used a 2x4 to knock mine on.

    Installed YJ poly gas tank

Hey, was out on trail with the YJ tank, and I'm getting lots of pressure at the fuel cap? Is the cap suppose release pressure? I thought those small lines to the front were suppose to burn off excess pressure in the tank?
