Yeah, mine has cruise as well. but if the later model matched up, I see no reason the earlier models wouldn't either. I'll be glad to hear from someone with an older one, though.

I'm taking the Jeep to a local garage this weekend to get the steering column fixed up. Just need to get the heap to drive again. Still looking for the rear door window and some help getting it in.

Just went out to try and start it up. The mechanical parts move like they should. I can place the key cylinder into the ignition switch and turn it, but there's no power to the column. I won't be going anywhere.

I'm not even sure if it will start up at this point. There's a lot of damage around the ignition switch. Thank you for the offer, though.

Fair enough. Any suggestions where I might be able to obtain a replacement Manual for cheap? Or is it better to rely on a FSM?

I wasn't asking for an FSM, I was asking for a view of the Owner's Manual that comes with the Jeeps from the dealer.

Yes, I believe it was.

The pop in the steering is a recurring issue that XJ has had. The tie rod end has been replaced several times since it was lifted.

I did the cluster swap on my last XJ as well. Definitely on the list for this one this summer once I find one to buy.
