    33's if you have to?

As long as you dont lock the d35 and you are easy on it, you will probably be fine with 33s.

Built my exo cage this weekend... Opinions please!

The roof looks a little loose. I would have brought the cage down closer to the roof of the XJ.

    Rear shock setup?

Cut the stock ones off, take a spray paint can trace it on the mount as close to the bottom as you can, cut along line, weld onto axle. Takes all of an hr to do.

Product Review: Brown Dog Industries Jeep motor mounts

I have them on my little 91 JeepSpeed Jeep. Lot more vibs, but unless your wife is driving it who cares. But they have been hammered on for a year now and held up great. Just dotn tighten the bolt through the bushings down too tight (instructions even tell you this).

    checking/fixing bend housing/shaft

Bent shafts typically will cause some weird brake wear, Id check the pads (but i dont know about that with rear disc). It might just be Aussie not wanting to fully admit fault. Were the teeth just broken off the locker?

    New indestructable trackbar.

I like how it drops down so far. That means it wont bind up on the lower bracket.

    Welder needed

little 110v welder sometimes do a lot better welding to the thin unibody. We picked up a cheap little Lincon 100 just for welding sheat metal, b/c none of the other welders had the adjustability for the much thinner stuff. Good someones got you covered regardless. :gee:

Is it possible to use no sye?

You can get away with it. My friends running a tall 8" lift with a stock rear drive line. He had to grind out the cardian joint to gain a little clearence for flex. He didnt have vibrations untill about 75. It does stress u-joints a lot more, but carry spares. I would still recommend a sye, but...

    what are these axles worth???

Depends on year, stock or built, vacuum disco or not, what hubs, what width... I wouldnt pay a dime over $300, probably more like $150 for both.

Meet and Greet with High Road Enterprises

Guys it’s a great little club. They have a big well equipped shop open once a week to everyone. Lots of people who know their stuff always willing to help. Its where I started and learned most my XJ/Jeep/4x4 knowledge. Their trail runs are great, epically since you can bring along a wife and...
