Well I have decided to sell my XJ. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to really enjoy it the way I used to. It is a chili pepper red 98 cherokee limited. About 196k miles. Runs great, even the AC works. It has a 4.5" Rough Country Long Arm on the front, 3.5" RE leaf springs, RC...
This isn't my first order with JCR...I have their front and rear bumpers, sliders, lower quarter guards, and these upper guards. I know they make great product.
I don't need to be at the top of the list...the guys who have been waiting a week longer than me should be there.
I definitely...
I am here to rant about JCR a bit. They are all nice guys, and their customer service is good, they make good products that are reasonably priced, they are into off roading...but I think they get away with more than they should on their wait times because of all of that.
If they have enough...
My WJ seats had the same recline lever (not power) as my XJ seats. I have a 98 XJ and the seats came from an 04 WJ.
I looked at the auction pics and yours are completely different from mine. That trim piece may work on yours, you'll just have to try it I guess.
It's very easy. You'll be using the XJ rails, and the plastic trim piece that the switches mount to because the XJ rails sit a little more left of the seat and the WJ trim piece doesn't allow for that. It's just 4 13mm nuts holding the seats to the rails.
I may be wrong about this, but it looks to me that the bottom bolts on the guards will be covered completely by the bushwackers and the guards will not have to trimmed at all...that is just a guess though.
The WJ backs have their own internal mechanism with a latch on the top of the seat beside the head rest, so the stock clips aren't used with the WJ seat.
1. Trailer light convertor
2. You are going to have to file the wackers a little bit where the quarter guards sit on top of the regular body, just the thickness of the guards if you want the wackers to be flush.
3. No tips yet, I SHOULD have mine this week...(I've been waiting over a month for...
