Hi all My 89 XJ boils over when i shut it off, it runs cool when driving though. I think the thermostat is good because when i start it it, after awhile the top water hose gets hot. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks

Anyone running 33s on a 3 inch lift, if so, hows it workin for ya? I have 31s right now and want to put 33s. Ive already cut the fenders to the smallest flare, removed the plastic ones.

I have a 89 with a Rustys 3 inch lift. I would like to add another 1 1/2 inch lift. I have Rustys 3 inch coils and add a leaf already, what do some of you think about another 1 1/2 inches? A new kit or spacers up front and the rear? Thanks

Use the fittings from the 96. Its easier to buy 3 ft of 3/16 brake line, some might have the bubble flare at each end, and the coerrct fitting for the new master, the metering needs a different flare. I took a master and booster from a 96 cherokee and installed it in my 89 cherokee xj. Brakes have double the stopping power, but now i have a little surging of the RPM while on the freeway. Idles fine, street driving fine, but when on the freeway, at 60-65, idle seems to jump then go back down...

Hi all I have a 89 XJ with 3 inch lift, 31 in. tires. Brakes not so good. I heard that i can swap out the 84s mastercylinder and booster assembly from a 95 or 96 and the newer will go in with no problem, no spacers or rods to swap. Is this true? If so, what else will i have to do? Thanks

Compression is running 140-150 on all cylinders. Engine is lacking power.
