All i know is that i started at 3 inches for 31's as is tradition, but bumped it up to 4 and a little bit. I am able to flex more without rubbing and i think it looks a little better. just my opinion.

This upgrade is awesome! got my tie rod for $7.38 from the JY and finally got rid of the xj's horribly thin TR. I swear my steering is a little tighter, too.

Coilover shocks are meant to be their own spring. You don't use them to "double team" with your leafs. To make rear coilovers work, as said, you have to completely re-engineer your whole rear suspension set up. Don't do it.
