Exactly what I was thinking. I talked to Jeeps Unclassified as well. Sounds like a good option to rebuild through them, but I'd still like to hold out hope that someone around here has a reliable one to throw in there to get me by for a while.

Thanks. Tried them, but no luck. They said they rarely have complete engines. Hard Rock 4x4 down in Otay Mesa has one, but it has 100k on it and he wants about $1100. It just seems a little high, but it's a 2001 and will go right in.
