I Am looking for some beadlock wheels, i currently have some trail ready beadlocks that are awesome. but i am switching to a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. I was planning on buy some more trail readys, but if i can save myself some money i would love to. some of the other ones i have found are creeper locks, and then racelines that are on rwks website.

I like that the the trail readys are made in the USA, but they are also close to 2200 bucks for a set of 5.

I would love to hear what you think about these or if there are some others i have missed

thanks
nick

I like Raceline. Have had several sets and they stand up well, great customer service too. I know a few guys that race and they stand up to some serious abuse. One hit a tree so hard it bent his 14 bolt pretty badly but the wheel was fine.

Trailready makes a great wheel too, can't go wrong with either.

I have Allieds, and I like them. They are a lot lower profile (smaller width on the ring) which may be a bad thing for people the are really hard on them. But I got mine for $210 each to the door.
I think they are awesome, but I am a total newb as far as beadlocks go. :yelclap:

The rings can take a beating. Right after I got my first set years ago I smacked into a rock hauling down a sandwash. Cut the tire, bent the framside TB bracket and the axle housing, and broke a motor mount. The ring took the brunt of the hit and had only a relatively minor dent in it. Pulled the ring off to change the tire and was still flat on the sealing surface, no kinks, etc. I ran that ring and rim for 5 more years with no issues and sold them to someone local who still runs the same ring.

You will see too many to count, hardcore race vehicles on Racelines. You will not see failures. You save good coin, and get a awesome looking wheel.

Whats the question?

Tell me these are not one of the best looking and strongest beadlocks out there?

Meh, personally I like the Method Beadlocked wheels better.

Trail ready is another great vendor and make a excellent wheel.

Has anyone tried Aero wheels? You know, the people who make the real nascar wheels. They make super strong stuff. I checked with them about 3-4years ago and at the time I could have gotten beadlock wheels for I think it was about $120 each. They come in lots of colors, bolt patterns, back spacing, diameters, and widths and are just plain cool.

I sent in a info request to them. I wasn't able to find any lug patterns bigger than 5on5.

Yea, and I just called them and they won't do a custom for the 5 on 5.5. Oh well.....:(

Allied might be cost effective, But Heavy!

I did this a few months ago. (Granted I haven't bought them yet since my Audi took up my spare cash for a timing belt haha.) I was stuck between Trail Ready, Trail gear, and ATX slabs.

I really like the Slabs, they seem to have the most beef and knirling on the ring but only come in a 3" bs

Trail gear is great looking and is forged(I think that's the better process) so they should be tough as hell, but they are heavy as hell also and I believe made over seas.

So Trail ready got me they are made in the USA and you get a choice of 3 different rings. I have seen them turned to tacos and beaten back without cracking (on the interwebs of course) and seem to be available in every variation.

Just my foggy 2 cents.

Also if your are going to spend say $280 on a wheel why not add another $60 and get what you want?

I got my TrailGears from Daves Offroad Supply, topnotch vendor on here and pirate. Can't go wrong with Trail Readys though... the TrailGears are heavy though, 40 something lbs for my 17s

bumping this thread because for some reason I'm having trouble finding info on H2's

I'm looking for a 17x9 wheel with 5" back space. not too heavy. to run with 37" mud terrains. doesn't necessarily have to be a beadlock even.

soft 8's are $400 set, allied is heavy, and I can't afford aluminum. anyone recommend H2's?

I love my H2s. I've seen them beaten to death and still hold air and I'm not easy on em either. I recently learned all chrome played GM wheels leak like hell around the bead, but just fixed that issue by having a tire shop grind all the inside of the beads down. No more leaks now.

Got mine for 250 for 5 with BFG ATs on em
