The "Hope I get done before Winterfest" List.....

just got in from the shop and I have 3 big piles of stuff to load up, but the camper will get put in the truck tomorrow, the trailer will get backed in the shop and have the snow melted off and the XJ will be loaded Monday or Tuesday..it is already packed to the gills of stuff. I am making lists and checking things off as I get to them, but I will surely forget something.

Don't forget Camille.......please.:D

oh there is no forgetting her.....she is counting the days and walking around the house hugging and kissing your framed picture as if she were a teenage girl in the 80's with a new Ralph Machio framed picture.

Cheese "I would rather the picture of you have clothes on, but it is what it is" Man

Very nice rig! I like how you stuffed those tires under the stock flares :)
What size wheel and backspace?

Been slaving away for 2 weekends now, and pretty much taking a break today ( I work slowly).

What size wheel and backspace?

15x8's with DIY beadlocks. I think they're soft 8's with 3.75" bs. They came with the rest of the raffle.

The original springs are gone, replaced with 6.5 coils/leafs from clayton.

I'm saving up my pennies for those new bushwacker flattie flares.

That's pretty sharp Josh! Nice.

Mine needs a ton of work. Namely..... floor replacement and new paint on all the armor.

Gonna get the CB installed this afternoon. Hopefully one of you guys with the SWR meters can help me tune the antenna on Thursday.

While I'll be wheeling the wife's daily driver, I'll be worrying if the clutch in my jeep will hold up to her abuse - just got back from giving her a manual trans refresher course :scared:

She last drove a manual in her '90 Taurus SHO, which we sold in '95 or '96 when we got the '92 XJ...

Meah......
I'm sure she'll do fine.

Dawn and I got the trailer out from the back yard.
Drove it around for a while, lights and brakes working!!

But...can't find my dang Carrharts!!

BOB

Hit (almost) all grease zerts with the grease gun today. Can't find my needle for my grease gun so, the Ujoints didn't get any love. Looked all over the place for the daymn thing for at least 30 min. None of them looked squeeky and dry so, they'll have to wait.

I got the whole kit at HF for 10 bucks. I'll bring it with if you really want to hit them before you wheel.

My CTM's need grease.

One more tire needs mounted and the camper is ready to go. Just gotta load up the jeep and gas her up.

Thanks Josh, I appreciate that.
I've got one, I just can't locate the darn thing. I plan on looking again tomorrow. I'm not really worried about the joints, it's the not knowing where the needle is that really bothers me.:D

JIM, you don't have it do you?

new paint on all the armor.

Mine needs it already. Damn salt!

Josh, your rig looks pretty BA with new shoes!

Mine needs it already. Damn salt!

Part of my problem is that the last stuff that was put on it I didn't have time to do a really good paint job. Half arsed it. Then the only time it sees the road is when it's covered in salt.

If I get time, the whole thing is going to see some TLC this summer.
If our house sells, we'll build so, then the Jeep will be on the back burner once again.

shifter install was a bit of a PIA...seems to shift great though! Jeep is almost ready to go.
