Best place to get a SYE installed?

haha I know a lot of people that run them without issue, me included. But whatever!

They are cheap for a reason. lastara

The flanged driveline sucks as well.

Regular CV yolks on the TC are a way better design than the companion flanges.

A true SYE is only $199. If you can't afford that don't lift your jeep.

This is the HnT that I run, I don't like the flange type ether.

This from the 'budget' built mj owner lol truth is not all lifted jeeps need a sye and those that do dont all need to be built the same way. Options are out there build it for what you want out of your jeep not because everyone said this or that

I have an hack n tap on my 242 and it has done fine. I'm pretty sure that is the only option for a 242 t-case. It's not about being cheap, it's about whats available.

On the 242 you are limited for options. The best option is to replace it ;)

I am budget built. But I limit making silly compromises.

I don't suggest anyone lift more than 3" without a SYE on a XJ.

I ran the AA SYE and used a front shaft out back on my XJ. Worked great. For a "budget" try that first and last resort buy a new shaft.

Damn, now I'm more confused thatn when I started.I have a buddy with the same exact lift as me and he doesn't have one.
I thought it was the "right" thing to do.After reading this ->http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=101244 I decided it was the way to go.I am also on a budget but I don't want more expensive problems down the road.

Give us some details on your rig. Year, auto or stick, lift height, t-case model.

94' 4x4 auto about 6" of lift with 33's 231 t-case.I would rather put that money somewhere else if I could like currie steering or something else.

SYE, rotate the pinion and get a CV driveline.

Brian wrote that writeup that you posted a link to.
