Longtime lurker. simple question.
I'm going to start gathering parts for a lift. I'd like to run 33's with enough room for flex and movement. This is NOT going to be a rockcrawler, just a reliable daily driver and a truck that'll see travel up to the lost coast, big bear, Anza-borrego, etc.
I'll admit the look is a deciding factor in what I like. I don't like overly tall rigs and I don't like excessively wide tires. I'll be going with 33x9.5x15 BFG AT's, just to have that in your mind, and I won't be cutting, though I might eventually add bushwackers, (though I've heard more bad than good about them.:looser
I've heard that a RE4.5 is good for the 33-35" tire range, and that most people wished they had gone long arms first. Has this been everyone's experience, that if I'm going over 3.5", that long arms are the way to go?
What is the best source of this kit when buying piece by piece?:dunno:
I want the best, and I want to do this once only.
thanks!
